Basically, DR.DAC2 DX utilizes Ti's OPA2604 OPAMP for the headphone-out. And the OPAMP can change by taste in music because the OPA2134 OPAMP of LINE OUT applied to be able to replace the socket.
You must disconnect the power adapter on the back panel of DR.DAC2 DX and the USB cable when you exchange the OPAMP. When you fix an OPAMP to DR.DAC2 DX, make sure that the directions of the OPAMP and the location of the socket’s groove are the same. An available OPAMP type in DR.DAC2 DX is a stereo (Dual Type)/DIP type, and you may use an OPAMP whose operational voltage range is -12V to +12V or over. If the OPAMP is an SMD type, you can use it by converting ‘SMD’ to ‘DIP’ type. If it’s a Single type, you may convert ‘Single’ to ‘Dual’ type.
※ Attention: While exchanging the OPAMP, you need a special care in the direction of the OPAMP. If you fail to install an OPAMP which leads to damage or a malfunction, you cannot receive the free services during even the period of guarantee.
